I have my father's Confirmation book, - He was confirmed on the 13th December 1911 at St Gabriel's Church, Swansea by Mr H.L. Williams, Vicar.
I'm wondering if this Church is still there? If it is, I would like to add it to my list to visit when I'm in Swansea in May.
Any Info welcomed, Romilly.

Thanks Ricky 1,
Now why hadn't I thought of that...!!
And as you say, it does still exist:

it's just to the north of St Helen's cricket and rugby ground. If there is sports coverage from there, you can just see the church. Used to be on the 'high' side for Church of Wales, don't know about now.

Thanks for the info Osprey,
I'm quite surprised about the "High Church" bit, - I had always thought that my father's family were Methodists! (Perhaps I was just assuming that though...).
Cheers, Romilly.
