I've had an email today from 1837 on-line, to say that they have added some new records available to search on-line.
I was particularly interested to see that some Divorce Records can now be searched on-line!

Hi Romilly,
Can you let us know what the other new records are, that they have added?
Thanks,

Hi Marie,
If you follow the Link in my message, it will take you to the new material that 1837 have aquired on license from The National Archives.
Apart from all of these new collections, you can also now search 192.com & Electoral Rolls on the 1837 site, but you have to have £25.00 worth of credits to do so, (& it uses up 6 credits each time you search it). Still cheaper than 192.com though.
Best Wishes, Romilly.

I had the email too. I was disappointed that the search is for surname and year only. I think they should think about revising the search criteria to enable first name too. When you have a common name to research like Stewart the results are too many even with the year. It would also be good if there was somewhere to leave feedback when they add more search databases, to find out what would be more helpful to researchers.
