Title: Queensland Marriage Lookup

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a marriage between Edward Collins and Elizabeth Sarah Ward prior to 1880. If they were not married in Queensland are there any births of children as I have one David Thornton Collins born 22/12/1880 at Allora.

Edward Collins married Elizabeth Sarah Ward on 16.11.1863 in Queensland .Ref 1863/000366

They had the following children

Lucy Ann b 30.6.1860 ref 1860/000821
Joseph b 7.5.1862 ref 1862/001024
Susanna Evangeline b 29.5.1864 ref 1864/001488
Valentine died 13.12.1866 ref 1866/001323
Valentine b 14.2.1866 ref 1886/002232 (think dates are mixed up there)
Valentine b 5.10.1867 ref 1867/002732
Unnamed female b 16.5.1870 ref 1870/003361
Jacob Ward b 19.9.1872 ref 1872/003800
Henry b 11.2.1878 ref 1878/001073
David Lown b 11.2.1878 ref 1878/001074

Ooops I think you've make a typo there Sid. The marriage date should be 1863 if the reference number is correct.
Its great that you know the location. A link for local cemeteries: http://www.ozgenonline.com/aust_cemeteries/qld/qld1.htm
I have checked the online data of the nearby cemeteries (Clifton, Back Plains, Nobby, and Toowoomba) and didn't find any matches. I'll check the index of Allora burials and local newspaper BMD index next time I'm in Brisbane (may be this weekend) unless someone beats me to it.

It's been a while since Darwens was online in the forum, but perhaps he will spot your message through a notification.

So on this thread you already have a list of siblings to your Lucy Ann COLLINS and some details of her parents.

What other areas of her life/family are of interest to you?
