hi I am new to the board
i am trying to find my rellies from wexford the migrated to australia in the 1850s.
they are :
james george rogers died abt 1840 in rathespick he was possibly an orphan raised by the local minister. I do not know his parents name
his wife margaret kerr born 1807 parents unknown
they were married abt 1833 and had 3 children
john rogers, mary and catherine.
james george was supposed to be in the police force and killed in the riots
she then married john beale.
any help would be appreciated as i am stuck on these

Rathaspick (note spelling) is in County laois and means the fort of the bishop.

I am assuming he came from rathaspeck as that is where margaret kerr her father was Francis Davis kerr ....nee rogers came from.
he was born abt 1821 wasand married margaret kerr after her 1st husband was killed poss in the riots? in 184
they had 2 children
john beale born and sarah beale.
they migrated to australia
1849 on the stag
any info on them would be appreciated as I am at a dead end with this family.

Hello Sorry Icould not find your name. Rathaspeck is in south co. Wexford aprox four miles from Wexford Town.In the 1800s there were a lot of Beales in the Enniscorthy co, . Wexford area I have a lot of info on that family.What Christian names did John use.? Contact me soon Regards Peter

all I have is the name john beale...he was born abt 1821..
his wife margaret was abt 14 years older than him he named his son john and daughter sarah.
john jnr named his daughter sarah as well so I assume that is a family name. also he named his son john as well.
they both named a child francis/frances as well
