Hi Sylviaann
Can you please see if David Stanley turns up in your 1821 census - he would be about 5 years old.
Hopefully he does, as I assume he would be with his parents, and that would let me know who they were.
Thanks
Sue
-
Sorry Cougar it's head of household only. His marriage certificate will give fathers name.
There is a John and a William. Both seem to have Male children.
-
Hi Sylviaann
Gee, that was quick - thanks
My guess is it is William - think his parents were William and Mary - but as I can't find David and Mary Ann's marriage recorded anywhere, not 100% sure.
Thanks again for that - does it give an address or just head of household.
Thanks Sue
-
Sorry should have given this information before.
John Stanley a carpenter lived at Jerusalem Place. There were 2 males and 1 female in the household. Page 93
Wm Stanley lived at 2 Fox Lane. No occupation given. 3males and 3 females page 137
-
Thanks for that, the second in Fox Lane is the more probable, will follow that through if I can.
Thanks Sue
-

Thankyou Sylviann - I don't recognise any of these at the moment but you never know ! I'll keep the results, they may fit sooner or later.
The Carvallo men are good at keeping hidden, they seem never to be at home on census night !
Thanks again - Sue

wright , sons name george james born 1849
crollie - robert crollie born 1818 (not sure) , daughter mary ann crollie
would like to know who their parents are
thanks
-
Hello
These censuses are Head of household only.
I could find no Crollies at all. There are a few Wrights but without a Christian name it is impossible to tell if any are yours.
Have you found George James wright in the 1851 census. If you do not have access to this and the 1841 census it would be best to put in a request on the London lookup requests board.
Sorry i cannot help yet.
Sylviaann
-

My relative George Taylor, Plumber, also lived at Bennetts Rents, Well Street in 1811. Does anyone know what the location of that would have been on Well Street today? Was it a set of flats?
