Could it be Robert Symmonds and Ann [nee Davis] married at Walford in 1803 ?

Hi I know your post for James Symonds is old now, but I have Symonds at walford in my tree but my James Symonds is 1837 and I don't know who his parents were. Do you have any info on my James?

This may be totally irrelevant ... but in Much Dewchurch, (about 8 miles from Ross on Wye) there is a house next to the school called Symonds, which I was told was named after the man who built it.  I knew the lady who lived there ... but she's since died ...   :(

All in the same sort of area for a builder, as Walford, Goodrich, etc ...

Thanks for that Lydart,
the way I look at it is follow up all leads as you never know what they will turn up. Sometimes they work for you and sometime they end up working out for someone else and you have done the work anyway so you may as well pass it on.
