Hi Everbody,
I am fairly new to the board but, would be grateful for any help you knowledgable people can give me. I am trying to trace a Eliza Dunn nee Rudkin, she married Robert John Smyth, Born Ireland (Dublin), when they the Smyth's came over from Ireland, they were married in 1904, but when Robert John died in 1918, Eliza seems to have disappear, I cannot even find a death cert. Would be very grateful for any suggestions on tracing her as I have checked all census to the best of my ability.
Will you need more information?
Thank and look forward to hearing from you if not all.
Regards
Mary Ellen

Hi Iria,
Thanks for the quick response but I don't think so, no mention of this in family conversations, but I won't dismiss it completely.
Thanks again,
Mary

Hi Iria
Sorry, but I got my trees wrong, the person I should have asked for is Louisa Smyth nee Parr sorry about that but I still appreciate your response.
Thanks again

Hi
Just a casual suggestion
There appears to be some uncanny coincidences here:
The RUDKINS were a big Toxteth family.
You have an Eliza RUDKIN married to a SMYTH.
Then later an Eliza SMYTH marries in Toxteth.
Might be worth a closer look.

Hi Twizzlad,
Thanks for that last post. I will will look into that further, do know about the Rudkins as we are connected by marriage on husband's side, and Eliza was Rudkin before Smyth if they are one and the same.
Many thanks

Thank you Mary Ellen
If your Eliza was the daughter of Richard Wilson RUDKIN b: 1852 Liverpool England d:1913 Cockermouth Westmorland England, we have a link.
Richard's brother was my great grandfather Edward RUDKIN b:1839 Liverpool.
I have details of his ancestors back to 1740 in Great Easton, Rutland, England.
If you would like to share further RUDKIN information please contact me.
Best regards

Hi Twizzlad,
Sorry Eliza was Parr we are related to the Rudkin's through marriage and the mix up, by me because both have the same christen name. I will be checking your suggestion of the marriage to G Turner as this may be the reason after the death of her husband John Robert Smyth, she seemed to of vanished into thin air.
Thanks for your time and interest, which has now got me back on track in taking up the Family Line's.
Regards
Mary Ellen
