Title: Syldesley Bonds? tylesley? anyone please?

Hi, I wonder if anyone has heard of Syldesley or Tyldesley Bonds?

It is down as the place of birth for Jane Murphy on the 1901 census.  RG13/3680 - Folio 34 - Page 7.  I think she maybe the person I'm looking for but in earlier census material, as Jane Wilshaw, she is down as being born in Tinsley.  What do you think?  Same place?

Hi Tinsley is about 2 and a half miles SW of Rotherham
Tyldesley is near to Atherton and Leigh Lancs

Many thanks Dotty for the info and taking the time to reply.

 I do think it is the same person.  As a child she is down on the census as being born in Tinsley, whereas the rest of the family are born in Openshaw and Ardwick, so it does make more sense that she was born in Tyldesley.  I have struggled finding her as a married woman but I think have found her and this Syldesley Bonds on the census could be Tyldesley.

I think it will be Tyldesley (Bongs) near Atherton (Bent) Lancashire.  () These are nicknames

ah ha!  I think I've cracked it then.  It must be Tyldesley Bongs.
