Post by: polidor on Sunday 09 April 06 19:33 BST (UK)
Does anyone know the reason why i can find a specific person in  "Family Search" census but fail to find them in "Ancestry" census for the same year.?

Am i missing something here  ::) Poli.

Some of the transcriptions on Ancestry are done very badly.  When I started out, I used the 1901 census on the national archives site and found my greatgrand father.  On ancestry they have a very poor image.  My G Grandfather on ancestry has ?? for his first name, and his middle name was wrong.  His sister was transcribed as Elizabeth when she was Isabella.  Try searching for different spellings.  I was searching for a Dennis Turvey and it turned out he was transcribed as Donnis Turney.  One of my ancestors was transcribed as being aged 3 and a wife, when infact she was 23.
