Title: Mumby - Lincolnshire COMPLETED THANKS
Post by: CatOne on Saturday 08 April 06 18:17 BST (UK)
Can anyone please find the marriage of a William Mumby and Dinah ?

They are both on the 1841 census, in Winterton, their eldest child Charles being 8, so I would guess the marriage occured c.1832.

Thanks for any help
Catherine  :)

Thanks everyone for your help  :)

John, I realised after I posted that the marriage may have been in those files you emailed me a few weeks ago so I was going to check them today. Forgot all about them having got sidetracked onto a different line!  ::)

Thanks again to all
Best Wishes
Catherine  :)
(isn't Springthorpe miles from Winterton though? I know today that Winterton is in North Lincolnshire and I thought Springthorpe was in just Lincolnshire, a lot further south?)

Springthorpe is a couple of miles east of Gainsborough ... Winterton is abour 20 miles north of there.
