Title: PARK HILL Tottenham
Post by: Emjaybee on Saturday 08 April 06 15:23 BST (UK)
Are there any relis of the TATE family (Tate and Lyle Liverpool)  who went to live at Park Hill, Tottenham out there?

I have a photo of Park Hill house with two ladies in crinoline dresses, maybe Victorian, and a man in a stovepipe hat. The older lady is in a bath chair and is wearing an ermine cape with the black tails showing.

I think my Great Grandfather - Alfred Tate, son of Sir Henry, lived at Park Hill - presumably with his Dad! I think he moved from their in the second half of the 1800 hundreds to live in Leatherhead
I do have some records from him - in fact his accounts - which he kept in great detail. I might be able to find out exactly when he left from these if it helps?
Would be nice to see the photo

I cant find the pictures!!!!!!

This was amongst a set of stereo pics I aquired from a jumble sale at a very early age.

Do not despair I shall continue searching.
