The BMD images are still free-to-view at ancestry.

You also need to clarify who "Bernice" is/was.

Pauline.

There's a John Teasdale HUTCHINSON born Jun quarter 1896 in Haltwhistle, Northumberland.

Could this be your man?

You could do with obtaining the birth cert of Thirlwell to confirm his parents' names and working backwards from there.

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Just in case...

I can't see a birth for a Thirlwell in 1925 but I can see
December 1925 Thomas Hutchinson, mother's maiden name Thirlwell, Manchester S 8d 183

Yes - that would blow my little offering clean out of the water - which is why Pauline is right in saying we need MORE information!  :)

I think yours looks just perfect, Arranroots (the birth of your Therwell being registered under Thirlwell too)

Really just posted the Thomas info in order not to have looked 1925 up for nothing  ;D  ;D

Hi Arranroots, yes I'm here  ;D, had powercut most of yesterday, sorry about that..   as you say your info looks very promising...sorry I'm not able to give you more info, this is for a close friend, whose parents split when she was young..Thirlwell was her father and she had no contact with him.. you are right she needs to get a birth cert for him to confirm his parents.. he had brother Godfrey... this info was supplied by my friends mother who is 80..I have posted a seperate topic for her side.. Farmer/Deberio Green... again with very little info...

Pauline, Bernice was wife of John Teasdale Hutchinson...

Hi again Tati, thanks for trying to help too, you guys were so supportive and helped me so much with my tree that I thought it worth a go for my friend... I do feel that Arranroots is on to the right one.... thanks all    :-* Denise

Hi,

Your posts are a few years back but as I'm just starting on the Farmer & Hutchinson families, might I ask what you found back then?

Many thanks,

Hilary
