Title: Help with Grandpa Richard please
Post by: Laverdiere on Sunday 02 April 06 04:59 BST (UK)
Could I have the grain removed from Grandpa Richard Wenham, please? I scanned it from an old book and it copied the paper grain and I can't get rid of it.

Thank you, Laverdiere

Hi
When you scan from a book or magazine it creates what you call a moire pattern
so when you scan you need to use the descreen setting

Can you contact me, I believe we are both related to Richard. My Great great grandfather is
Albert Piggott.

my personal email is   (*)
Best Wishes
Debbie

Hi Deb,

Re Chris PIGGOTT, sorry I'm not sure. My PIGOTT/PIGGOTT policeman were based in Manchester approximately 1860 to 1880. I haven't been able to trace their descendants.

Regards,
Peter
