Yes.. I read it ;)
It's an engraving of Noah Webster, born Oct. 16. 1758, West Hartford, Connecticut. He wrote a dictionary. Found the image here and downscaled:

Yeah, I got the image from Uncyclopedia.org which is like Wikipedia but they make all the articles false. A lot of them are very funny (particularly the one about alliteration: http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Alliteration )
