Thanks for looking Jim, but i think that is the wrong one on the census.
I have on the 1841 census
William Jones 40
Mary 35 (this is his second wife)
John 10
Joseph 4
Edwin Spooner 3 (this is her son)
That is why i want to know if that is their marriage in 1840, at St. Martin Birmingham. Thanks again.

Oops.I thought Mary Ann's age was a bit off, only excuse I've got really.
The BMD info lists possible husbands as:
Abraham Emms
Thomas Allen
William Jones
The cert. will probably only say "of full age"but I would say this is them.
Regards Jim

Hi Tidgie
I see what your getting at now.As the ages in 1841 were rounded down to the nearest 5 you can't say for sure which is your William, but have tried to redeem myself by finding Mary(if you haven't already got it):
Ch:26/7/1806/St.Martin's/Mary Ann Spooner/Fa.Luke Spooner/Ma.Phebe Lucas.
The marr. cert. will of course have fathers' names.
Regards Jim

Hello Jim, Mary Spooner was her first married name, her maiden name was Simkins. I am happy with my family in 1841 as i have them in later years as well.
I just wondered if any one had acsess to St. Martin parish registers. Thanks.
