Title: Hunt, Chicago, Illinois
Post by: Marianne on Thursday 30 March 06 11:46 BST (UK)
I remember posting my grandmother's weekly letters to 334 North Ivers Ave, Chicago in the 1950's.  I have now found out her maiden name was Margaret Hunt.  Her married name was possibly Smith, I understand that she was a widow by the 1950's.  I have traced her ancestors from Oldham in Lancashire England, and know they came from Ireland in the 1840's but do not know where. Does anyone have any information?  Thanking you, Marianne

Where and when did Margaret pass away? What are her parents' names?

Yes, I saw that this was an old posting. You never know whether someone has found what they wanted or gave up years ago.  :D
