Title: 1871 Census - Withington/Macclesfield - Charles Roylance (Completed)

Hello,

I am wondering if it would be possible to request a lookup for the following family in the 1871 Census:

Roylance, Charles born circa 1829 at Old Withington
Roylance, Sarah born circa 1830 Withington
Roylance, Charles born circa 1850 Withington

In 1851 they were living at Lower Withington.

1861: not located

1881: Charles junior appears to be in Goostrey Cum Barnshaw.

Just a quick question - should the father's name be Joseph??

1851  Lower Withington
Joseph Roylance 22 Blacksmith b Old Withington
Sarah Roylance 21                    b. Withington
Charles Roylance 6mths            b. Withington

Just in case -here they are 1861

RG9/2800/9/12  Astley
Ellesmere Street

Joseph Roylance 32 Blacksmith b. Old withington
Sarah Roylance 30   
Charles Roylance 10 Withington
Elizabeth Roylance 8 withington
Oliver Roylance 5 Withington
Edwin Roylance 3 Withington

There is no sign of Joseph & Sarah 1871 - but he children are scattered either with relatives or as servants.

Is this the same Folio and Page as you have kindly provided?

Yes it is - HO107/2161/493/20

  and the father's name is definitely Joseph!
