I am looking for my Great x 3 grandfather Daniel Hinton. I think he was born in Old Charlton around 1833. His father's name was James. In 1851 he and James are still in Charlton so I am hoping the family was there in 1841 to see if there was anyone else in the household.
Many thanks
Helen

Hi Cissellby.
Thank you for your reply. Now that has thrown a spanner in the works. I had Daniel's mother as Ann, not Elizabeth.
Was this the only Daniel Hinton you came across? He is proving a real headache as I have now found him all through the census's, & this Daniel, born Old Charlton, appears to marry Emma someone in mid 1860s and I can find no marriage of Daniel Hinton & my GGGgrandmother Susan Ann Morgan, although she appears as 'widow' on all the census returns from 1871 onwards and yet this Daniel also appears on them!! The mystery deepens!
Thanks for your help,
Helen

Hi Helen,
I could only find that Daniel in the London 1841 census.
Sorry, Cissellby.
