Title: Barra runaway macneil

I am looking for any information on a John Macneil. born c1717 on Barra. He apparently left Barra with his Brother (name unknown) after an incident where he severed a boys ear with a malt shovel. :-X

Where did your story originate from  :o

Do you have any other details such as where on Barra he originated, when he left, where he went, who he was married to, was he married when he left, did he have children, who were they, what was his occupation  ??? ???

Do you have any info. at all on his time on Barra  ::)
