Thanks very much.  My gr-grandfather Constantine McAlister (sometimes Cornelius McAllister) was an engine driver and seems to have moved around a bit with his job.  I know they lived in Whitla St in 1903.  The two addresses I asked you to look up are taken from my grandparents' marriage certificate in Nov. 1910.  Neither names mean anything but the addresses could have been "digs".  Is there such as thing as a 1910 directory??

Going through old posts and found this one - have you already found the information on this family that you were looking for earlier? Since then lots of Irish resources have come online.

1901 census shows Consontine McAlister at Whitla St.- his occupation railway fireman which fits with the details you have. It's house #43 on census form which may also be the actual house number.

By 1911 the family have moved to Londonderry-
