Please can someone do a look up on 1841 Census for COWLES family Pontypool area, and Florence Jenkins in the same area?

Hello Belle
Do you have any christian names and ages for the
Cowles family. there do not appear to be any in Trevethin
Parish ,but several families in nearby parishes.
There is only one Florence Jenkins in the county.
She is 21 and not in the Pontypool area.

Hi Rhys
Christian names for Cowles - William. As for ages I think William was born around 1801 -5 . Not sure on Florence. Could you let me know the details for the Florence Jenkins entry please, it could be the same?
Many Thanks,
Belle

Hello Belle
Cannot find a William of the right age group in Mon or any of
the surrounding English and Welsh counties in 1841.
Did William marry Florence and have a son John Milner
Jenkins Cowles?
If so the Florence 21 is the wrong one.
The 1851 Glamorgan has.

Hi Rhys
Yes - John Milner Jenkins was the son. I have the family on 1851 & later Census but had nothing for 1841. Are there any Cowles at all listed on that Census? The son, John ( my gt. gt,gt grandfather) appears twice on 1871 Census one entry presumably in house of his then employer. Florence Jenkins & William had another child William Hercules Jenkins Cowles ( found in family search org christening records) who never seems to turn up anywhere later. However on later Census ( where John is residing with Jenkins relatives William Hercules Jenkins is listed as a son.
I have ordered the marriage cert for Florence & William yesterday to obtain details as to further clues re Wm's father and Florence's parentage which might help.
Thanks for checking, Rhys.
