Lt. Peter, Inverness Militia half-pay ??? was born 1780 to William Wilson & Jean Skinner.
He married (1798) Helen Tod born 1780 in London Eng.
They had 10 children James W., my ancestor
Jean (Cumming),
John (Agnes McKecknie),
George,
Charlotte,
Elizabeth (McConachie),
Peter (Helen Duff),
Frances W.G. (Rutland & Reid)
Mary Jane (Blair),
Hugh McLean  (Elizabeth)
Any info on this family would be really, really appreciated.

Hi Yukongal  :),

Sadly I don't have any information about Lt. Peter Wilson or family, however I do have the surnames CUMMING and McCONACHIE in my tree, and also from around that area of Banffshire, so there might be a connection there somewhere. Do you know the name of the Cumming that your Jean Wilson married, or the McConachie that Elizabeth Wilson married?

Both parents and  some of their children are recorded on the Libindx database (http://libindx.moray.gov.uk) including their daughter Margaret (not Mary Jane) who married Joseph Blair.
