There's a James Swiney in Sunderland, do you have any more information about him, wife, family, occupation etc?  Here's this one anyway:

i dont have any further info on him i'm sorry
he was the son of john swinney (swinhoe) & isabel hasker from berwick upon tweed. the family were mariners/ fishermen/miners
but im afraid thats all the information i have at this point

I think I gave you all the Swinneys in 1841 Berwick Tweedmouth back in February, so won't find him there.  Are you sure he was still alive in 1841?!!
