Thanke for message I know nothing about the family of my great grandfather Joseph Bodsworth before he came to Stocksbridge, only that he originated fron Leighton Buzzard. As to when he came into the village of Stocksbridge Sheffield I don't know maybe around 1850-60, but his wife Ann was buried in Stocksbridge aged 67yrs. Her son James Henry William Bodsworth was my Grandfather.
Thanks Kind regards

Hi Reed...
No need to be nervous we all started that way. I have had loads of help with my tree and some branches now go back to the late 1600's.
Would you like the 1841 info for them?
