Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I would find an index for the Craven Muster Rolls of 1803.
I am hoping to find my William Simpson's name there ;D
Any advice appreciated.
regards
Margaret

sorry everyone,
turns out a family researcher back in 1997 had already looked for this one and he is not listed.
I cannot offer where to look to aid anyone else as he used a researcher to find the information. And no details were given.

Me too ! So I carried on searching and just discovered PART OF IT is transcribed:
but for only Barnoldswick; Bracewell; Broughton cum Elsack; Carleton; Martons Both; and Thornton -- Maybe that's the areas you want?

And here a copy at only 7 pounds in the UK if you're there

Not my Simpsons in the Carlton etc areas, shame :(
I am not going to fuss too much at the moment as far as books are concerned, but appreciate your effort.
