At the moment i have found that my Greaves/Greeves come from Brancaster Norfolk.

Why don't you enter and check your surnames in the "surnames interests table"?  The link is via "your surname interests" at the foot of the page.  You use "edit my surname intersts " to enter yours.

Hi Julie what Doughty names are you interested in? my line came from Burnham Mkt but l have lost a few, you never know Brancater not far away

I have a Mary Lewis FIDDAMAN who married Ambrose ORBELL a shepherd, in 1810 in Barton Bendish parish Norfolk. While some children were born in Suffolk, it seems they had settled for a while in Brancaster where Susan Orbell  was born (1822) &  later Robert Fiddaman ORBELL was born (1827) & then I think subsequent children. I'm trying to find out who Mary Lewis FIDDAMAN 's parent were (? may be her mother /grandmother was a Lewis?)
