Title: East Hunslet Liberal Club
Post by: lanshaw on Saturday 11 March 06 21:58 GMT (UK)
I am wondering if anyone has any information on the East Hunslet Liberal Club, I think the name is right.  Hopefully there is some knowledge of a Richard Arthur Cripwell who was the President of the club.

The Peggy Tub WMC on Woodhouse Hill Road in Hunslet, Leeds 10.  The Peggy Tub was always the nickname of the East Hunslet Liberal Club but these days, the 'Liberal' bit has gone. Today's building doesn't look that old but maybe some old lad there might know something, if you dropped them a line.  Hope that helps. Julie
