they went to the nearest 5 years.
So those Children with 5 as age
could be wrong but not by much.

The Hargrave's in the parish of :-

Will take me a bit longer to find.
it was a very big Parish spread over
several disks. . .
Have you any idea of a road so as to
narrow it down for me please.?

MIKE.

P.S. .....

Not found them yet. . .
But have got them on the 1851. Census in South Bond St. . . .
But they are not here in 1841. ( have checked )

Mike

thank yoo so much for looking those up quickly.

I have a lot of Normans in Oadby as I have a Norman marrying a Norman and at the moment I have't found the connection between the two Norman families !

Other main ones are

William Norman (possibly aged 63)

Richard Norman (aged 42)
Alice Norman (aged 33)

(There is also another Richard Norman who was born in 1802 who also married an Alice but my direct line Richard who was born in 1799)

With the Hargraves the earliest informaiton is the 1851 census.  At some point Sarah Hargrave's (nee Cade) family moved dwon to Leicester and were there in 1851 but I don't know when they came down but George and Sarah's daughter Emma was born  in Leicester in 1836 although I have been unable to find her christening at the moment.

Anything you are able to find would be much appreciated but if it is too much hunting then don't worry

best wishes

Sarah

HARGAVE (S) . . . . .

I’ve used the 1851. Census as there is more info on that one
Than the 1841. In order to give you the most information.

I think this is Sarah’s Parents :-

Elizabeth. Wife. 59. born Thornton. Lincolnshire.
Mary. Dau. 37. Glove Stitcher. Born Swallow Lincolnshire.

Emily. Dau. 3. Born Leicester.

So going on Thomas ‘s birth it looks like they moved here in 1830. ?

 I think this is Sarah’s Brother William.? . . .

West Street. Leicester.

Mary. Wife. 33. born Leicester. (St. Margaret’s Parish)

I’ve found this Marriage but not too sure on Female name ?
Needs to look at Parish Records to confirm :-

GEORGE  HARGRAVES  ~ SARAH CAPARN.
1834.St Nicholas Church Leicester.
By Banns.

If Sarah’s birth year is 1836.
This is before 1837 look up site.
And again needs look up through Parish Records.

Hope this further info is of help ? . . . .
