Title: John (O)Reilly, Derrynascobe
Post by: tetcol on Friday 10 March 06 09:28 GMT (UK)
John Reilly's d.cert. (Scotland) states his dob 21/4/1912.
Having been told he was born in Derrynascobe, Clogher,
I sent off for b.cert.
I have just received a letter from groni stating no trace.

His parents on his m.cert. 1938 are
John Reilly, Farmer, deceased; Ellen Reilly M.S. Finegan.

On his d.cert.
John Reilly, Farmer, deceased; Alice Reilly M.S. McEnroe, deceased.

Can anyone help me out here please with marriage(s) of the father, which may point me in another direction or at least give me the correct mother.

Cathy

Hi,

Sorry this is such a late reply. I guess you may have found many answers in the intervening years, particularly now that the civil records are all available on Irish Genealogy. I just thought I would contact you as I have found an old photo from a family wedding which has Rosie REILLY (sister of John) in it. I thought you might be interested.

My family are the MARTINs of DERRYNASCOBE and were great friends of the REILLYs.

Tetcol hasn't logged into Rootschat since 2006 but there's a chance they might still have notification of replies on and will see your post, qshaun.
