Title: Christian name?
Post by: big g on Thursday 09 March 06 18:26 GMT (UK)
Came across this on a handwritten family tree, so not very clear, but looks like -
"Acil"

Any ideas? ??? ???

Welsh family is the only clue.

Hi Big G

Is it possible we could reconstruct this part of the tree, or is it very early?

Maybe if we knew the rest of the family they could be found on censuses or other records to verify?

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Arranroots, I have taken this name from a draft handwritten tree, which details a branch of my family. There are no dates on it!!!! However the name at the top of the tree I recognised, it's already in my tree. I would think the person "Acil" would have been born early 1900's - so no joy there...................

Hi,
I put in a search for Acil and their were 10 listed in various parts of England, it appears to be a  male name.
