				Hi Sasha,
We may need a bit more detail - first names perhaps?
There seem to be four Bevans families, eight Thomas families, but no Lewis families as such, just a couple of servants by the name of Lewis.  These are the ones who live in Freystrop - there may be others who originated there but have moved away.

				Hello Little Nell
Yes, of course I should have been more specific, sorry.
I have a Mary Hannah THOMAS b. abt 1874 and a John BEVANS b. 1871. They each married one of my COUSINS in 1890 and 1894 respectively and ideally I would like to know which families they came from. Hope this makes sense.

				Little Nell
Have just seen that Mary Hannah married in Swansea so probably came from there!

				Hi Little Nell
The information about Mary Hannah looks very possible and thank you, however, I am sorry to say that it is John BEVANS (b. 1871) that I am looking for and not John BEVAN  :-[
Another side of the family married a William BEVAN but he was born in Ambleston in about 1839.

				Sasha,
There are four John Bevan (no s) in Freystrop in 1881: the two I have already given you, John born 1858 son of Thomas, and John born 1874 son of William born in Ambleston.  Details:
RG11/5417/28 p1
Pembroke Road, Freystrop
William BEVAN Head M 42 M b Ambleston, Pembroke Labourer
Ann BEVAN wife M 30 F b Freystrop, Pembroke
Mary H. BEVAN dau 9 F b Freystrop, Pembroke scholar
John BEVAN son 7 M b Freystrop, Pembroke scholar
William BEVAN son 5 M b Freystrop, Pembroke scholar
Richard BEVAN son 3 M Freystrop, Pembroke
You may be looking for Bevans but I think it might be wise to adopt a flexible approach to the presence (or lack of it) of an s on the end of the name.  They come and go depending on who wrote it.  I have also perhaps misled you - there are NO Bevans families in Freystrop, only Bevan (no s).
Do you know John's father's name?
Nell
