You don't say who you are searching for Therese???
There is an Edward, wife Hannah & 3 year old Eugene in Camberwell. Any good to you?

Thanks for your help Arranroots. At this time I can't connect Edward.
The names I'm looking for at present are Denis and Catherine.

The McGillicuddys I am looking for should be 'born Ireland'
Any ideas on where I should look now.

Hi Therese
I think you need to consider buying one or more of the certs, but if that is out of the question, maybe you could give us a bit moreinformation to go on?
Who were the McGillicuddys? Were they husband and wife? What was Denis's occupation? Do you know when they came into the country? There is a big gap between their deaths and the 1871 census, so perhaps they arrived in that time?
Let us know everything you have on them & that should help.
kind regards, Arranroots ;)

Hi Arranrots
I can't find my grgrgrandparents Denis and Catherine McG in Ireland after
the 1850s.( I think he would have been a farmer or labourer.) So I'm looking
everywhere and at all possibilities
Most of their children went to Australia and NZ in the late 1860s,although not
all traced.
I don't even know if the two deaths I found in the freebmd are h & w.
I'm trying to eliminate all the Denis and Catherine McGs that 'could be' in all
countries in the hope of finding mine.
I appreciate the help you have given.

Hi Therese,
My mother used to say that we were related to the MacGillycuddys (not sure of spelling) and that they came from Ireland (definitely Cork - Tipperary, I think). However, I have not yet come across any connection in my search.
My mother's family lived in Wandsworth, London.
Could there be any connection to your tree?
Regards, Joan.
