Title: Hoylake Address help

Hi Everyone

I have just found out from the parish records for Hoylake  holy Trinity that according to this my gran was born The Cottage Grove Place in 1911. but according to her birth certificate she was born  36 lee Road hoylake could someone tell me is the cottage a hospital.

Hi there,

There is a Cottage Hospital in Hoylake but it is on the main road, which is called Birkenhead Road - if you wanted to ring them and make further enquiries their number is 0151 632 3381.  However, there is also a Grove Place, in Hoylake -  if you go to www.multimap.co.uk and use the advanced search you will get a map of its location.

Hope this helps somewhat - I would guess that your relation was born in an actual cottage if it was in Grove Place.
