I'd be grateful if anyone could look for the following in Kings Langley in the 1841 census:
Joseph TURNER and wife Sarah TURNER - ages unknown but probably 40+ - Sarah may be dead, but Joseph had a daughter married in Kings Langley in 1839 so is hopefully still there in 1841
and their children:
William TURNER aged c. 18
Thomas TURNER aged c. 16
Elizabeth TURNER aged c. 11
John TURNER aged c. 9
Thanks!
Sheila

Many thanks, Peter!
This is super - I had a nasty feeling that Joseph might have been from out of county which would have made matters more difficult and at least I now have a rough idea of date of birth and, in particular, the possibility of a marriage for him between 1838 and 1841 which might show up on the GRO registers - I had found the burial reference for Sarah and thought it might be mine but I never thought of a second marriage (assuming Elizabeth IS his wife!).
Thanks again
Sheila
