Hi
Please could someone kindly look up 1871 and 1891 census for Bantoft family with mother Elizabeth, father George sons Charles, William, Robert, Edward and daughters Kate Florence, Helen and Elsie.
I am trying to find info that will give me the names of Helen's children form her marriage to Albert Derbyshire 1903 in London, 2 of which are Florence Derbyshire who married fred Fullilove and Charles Derbyshire who married Lilian Green nee Morris.
Thank you

Thank you MJP
I am trying to find the names of Helens children who were born London 1903-1925. Family became estranged and only know the name of one, Charles Derbyshire born 1917 Camberwell. Research has proved Florence to be another child but still looking. I am hoping, know its a long shot that other researchers of the same family may have info
Thanks

Hi derbs,
I have access to the full BMD indexes so I'm just scanning for you. Starting in 1911 they include mothers maiden name in the indexes. So, I'm starting there (sorry - can't identify any possible children 1903-1911).
Here's a couple to get you started:
James Derbyshire, MMN Bantoft, Camberwell, June Qtr 1912, Vol 1d Page 1525
Florence Derbyshire, MMN Bantoft, Camberwell, Sep Qtr 1913 Vol 1d Page 1750

Thank you so much MJP. I scoured through each page on 14 day trial, guess I missed James. Derbyshire was a very uncommon name in Camberwell and there were 2 females born pre 1910 whi I think might possibly be siblings. Thank you

No problem. I found those two pre-1910 as well, but it seems to me a pretty big gap to have no children (between 1904 and 1910). I wonder if they lived somewhere else for a while...
Good luck!

Hi
Yes it is a large gap but until 1900 ALbert the father was in the Navy, then served 2 years in the fire brigade. It is possible he returned to the sea.

In addition to the two pre 1911 entries of Elizabeth and Winifred there is a handwritten entry October - December 1905. I am guessing that this could be first born son but no details of where born. It could read as Albert Francis. I am off to Southwark family study centre tomorrow to see if I can find family in later electoral roll, long shot I know but I know the area very well and most families remained in the same area.

Hi Derbs
I have come across this thread from a Google search (a long time ago).
However, I am a direct descendant of Helen Eliza Bantoft and Florence Fullilove was my Great-Grandmother.
I did try sending you a PM but I think I have a minimum limit before I can do so. Anyway, please let me know if you'd like more information about this line and I'll be glad to help you out.
Thanks
