My Davies family migrated from Glamorgan in abt 1878/79 to Workington.

Evan DAVIES b1850 m Eliza RICHARDS b1851 in Merthyr Tydfil. Left Wales in 1878/79. Thomas RICHARDS, brother, also came to Workington

Siblings:
Edward (Ted) born 1879, my grandfather. married Ruth
             Brown LAWDEN.born 1882
Evan - died 1918.
Thomas - married Katie SYKES
Harriet Ann - spinster (headteacher Whitehaven Girls
                     School 1940/50)
Samuel G Davies - married Jane WREN
James - married Jean BOWYER
Mary Jane - married Clem HUNTINGDON

Any relatives out there I can help fill in the gaps?
I have the Davies tree going back to 1795 in Glamorganshire and Carmarthenshire.

I wonder if you have come across a Letitia Sophia Davies who in 1868 married my great Grandfather Joseph Whitfield at St John's Church Workington ?
At the time she was living Bridge Street Workington with a father Edward Davies, deceased.  Her given age was 19 but her age varies on later census.
She is proving very elusive !

Shouldn't she have had him buried?  :D
