Shirrefs / sherrifs at Devanha Brewrey in Aberdeen
looking for any info on families with above surnames
who worked at the brewrey before & after 1815
or any names that link with the families.

I have a Elspet Sherriffs b either 1793 or 1797 and her dad was John Sherriff b 1777 - any relation?

I do have a john Sherriff on a baptism document in
1815 and in a will in1846, what link unknown.
Do you have Elspet Mothers name and any
links with Devanha Brewrey, or were she was born.

now with regards to Elspet, she married a John Calder, there is a brother (well i think) John, b around 1791 - and the only one that I have been able to find is a Margaret Small, ring any bells?
