I am trying to trace:
John RADFORD
Born c.1854
Cork Harbour, Ireland
He had left Ireland for Devon by 1884.
I have attached a small extract from the 1891 census which shows his place of birth. I cannot quite make it out. The 1901 census clearly states "Cork Harbour, Ireland" as place of birth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
Could it possibly say 'Queenstown'? (Former name of Cobh)
There is John Radford b.1854 on the IGI, in Cork city.

Thanks for that. I am sure you are right and that it is "Queenstown"".
I can only see a marriage in 1854 in Cork on IGI. Am I missing it?

Oops, sorry, my mistake, it is a marriage.
Still, could be a connection...
