Hi,
I have:-
Rebekah Lawrence who married William Potter 25 Dec 1754 Coggeshall.
Sarah Hammond bap 14 Jul 1771 Black Notley
Mary Harrington bap 10 Apr 1715 Sible Hedingham.
Thomas Searle(s) bap 13 Aug 1760 Stebbing.
Subsequent Searles ancestors and their siblings found at Felsted, Gt Waltham, Gt & Lt Leighs and Chignall St James.
As far as I know the above are all Essex based, although not having found Rebekah's birth/baptism details can't be 100% certain.
Any connections ?

It’s a small world, findem,
And many thanks for your reply.

Re: Rebekah Lawrence who married William Potter 25 Dec 1754 Coggeshall.

my Lawrence’s were from Hampshire, Harwich, Dagenham, West ham areas. I had info on lawrence from Braintree/Panfield [as my parents lived there for a long time]areas so can rule your connections out there.
 :(
Re: Sarah Hammond bap 14 Jul 1771 Black Notley
My Hammonds were from Bradfield, Manningtree, Stratford & Hornchurch
 :(
Re:Mary Harrington bap 10 Apr 1715 Sible Hedingham.
Mine were Southminster, st lawrence, Wethersfield [Braintree area] not too far from Sible Hedingham so that’s a close match
 ;)
Re:Thomas Searle(s) bap 13 Aug 1760 Stebbing.
Mine were Maldon [Essex] not sure about later, as I haven’t researched that name much as yet.
thanks

Hi Jaq,
I'm afraid I have nothing of use to you regarding the Harringtons because my Harrington line petered out when Mary married John Betts in 1736 at Finchingfield.  It could be a different story once you get back around the 1700s with your line, there may be a connection, as you say Wethersfield is close by.  Currently I'm "frozen in time" with this family, I've found the marriage of her parent's, John Harrington & Hannah Elliott, in 1708 at Sible Hedingham and to date made no further progress.  I've added Wethersfield to Castle Hedingham as PRs to search for Mary's parents next time I'm in the UK, never know your luck.  Great to hear fom you, perhaps you could keep me in mind if you get back a bit further with your line ?
Regards, Findem.

Hi Jaq,
I noticed the name Burton on your list of interests and wondered if you had any in Coggeshall or Maldon.
I am trying to trace the parents of Arthur Burton (b.abt1874) in Lexden district. I went to Essex Records office and couldn't find a baptism for him either in Lexden or Stanway. All I know for definite is that his father's name was James. However, I noticed a census record for a James and Hannah in Gt Coggeshall and then found a marriage for James Burton and Hannah Willsher in Lexden district in 1870.
Any information you can give me would be much appreciated.
Lynda
