Title: Baptism - John HARRIS

Hiya Everyone,
                           I have been researching my family tree for a year now. on and off.
I found Thomas Harris born 1792 born in Morton Corbett Shropshire. i found his parents John and Abigail Harris. i cannot find their date of births,
I am now trying to find John's parents names. and any info on them.
The only John Harris i have found was born in 1746. i think this is the wrong person.
can anyone help me  its a bit confusing sorry.

I assume that you found Thomas Harris details from the IGI.  Are you aware that he has several siblings also listed?

If you do a search on the IGI using the Batch Number P008921 (batch number for Moreton Corbet found on the Hugh Wallis site CLICK HERE (http://www.rootschat.com/links/05g/)) you will find the following:

William  Christening: 16 AUG 1792 Moreton Corbet
James   Christening: 03 JUN 1795       
Mary     Christening: 24 SEP 1796
Ann       Christening: 31 MAY 1789
Henry   Christening: 04 JAN 1788
Joseph  Christening: 23 MAR 1794
John     Christening: 05 JUN 1786

All with parents John and Abigail Harris.

Not an answer to your question about John (snr) parents but still helpful I hope.

The IGI for Shawbury, which is not far from Moreton Corbet, has the marriage of a John Harris and Abigail Binnell, 4th March 1784, Batch No. M053902. It might be worth looking at the wider area for a birth.

twins, Ann and Jane, were buried in March 1785. Ann on the 1st and Jane on the 11th. parents John and Abigail Harris.
