Can someone lookup for me the full marriage register details for the following two marriages:
1. Benjamin Crispin to Sarah Twist Silver at St Dunstan Stepney on 25th September 1709.
The LMA reference for the microfilm is: X024/069 - index X102/099
2. James Collins to Sarah Twist Crispin at St Dunstan Stepney on 14th August 1728.
The LMA reference for the microfilm is: X024/023 - index X102/096
If you happen to have a Buckinghamshire ancestor then I can do a lookup for you in return as I work in Aylesbury
Thanks

Hi Mark
Seen from your profile you've not been on Rootschat for a while.
Do you still need this look-up?

Thanks for that and thanks for all the wonderful detail. Nice to confirm there is a Silver in the family. I can tell the kids they are related to Long John Silver now!

Are you still out there? I'm a descendant of Sarah & her first husband, Benjamin Crispin, so please get in touch.
Cheers,

Hey Mark,
They're my 7x g-grandparents so I have collated quite a few of sources for that family in my Ancestry tree. Unsure how we can exchange contact info privately in this forum.
The Silver records often have been transcribed as 'Silure', so include that in your searches as well.
BTW - I've recently been trying to find out the source of Sarah's 'Twist' in her name. It was always prominent in documents & signatures, and passed on to descendants, so was apparently important to her. The earlier records have Troistsilver or Troist-Silver & I thought it was of French origin, but troist isn't a word in French, as far as I know (possibly Dutch?).
Happy to let you see my tree. FamilySearch also updated for Sarah MMC9-S71.
Cheers, Carl
