I am trying to find any children of Ann Maria Hingley and Joshua Worton/Walton married 4 June 1865 Tipton.
Ann Maria died 28 August 1870 in Kingswinford areas, of typhoid and I want to know if she and Joshua had any children during the period of their marriage (5 years).
Her parents were James Hingley and Ann Maria Haden. James and Ann lived in Dudley.
Any help much appreciated.
Regards
June

Hi June,
I can see a
Joshua Worton, brother, widower, 28, Furnaceman, b. Staffs Oak Farm
at Rawmarsh Yorkshire (living with his brother Samuel age 46 born Dudley and family)
RG10/4708 54 4
He doesn't seem to have any of his own children living with him.
There are several Hingleys in Dudley. I can see a couple James age 63 Bricklayer and shopkeeper and Ann 53, both born Dudley, living at Dudley Vicarage Prospect. They are living on their own - no grandchildren with them.
Sorry, this is not much help.

Hi Tanja
It is a great help. Even if I just confirm that they had no children at least I would be further forward. It is the correct Joshua as he was born at the Oaks and he did have a brother Samuel and yes his family went to Yorkshire.
Joshua himself remarried in 1872 but again he did not have any children from his previous marriage living with him! Perhaps they did not have any. Mind you it would be unusual not to have produced one in five years but perhaps the child/children died of typhoid like Ann Maria in 1870.
Thank you again
June
