I am Looking for any information on the SHORTMAN family. They were in Westbury on Trym.
Later in the  1800's they moved on to Salford and Pendelton in Manchester.  William Shortman came to Canada in 1904 with his wife Ellen Taylor.

I have found a Shortman family in Westbury on Trym, including a 7 year old William, on the 1871 census.  Could he be yours?

I have them on there as well as on the 1881 1891 and 1861. I was hoping some one else is also researching the name.

This William Shortman married my Mary Williams (fourth great aunt) If anybody needs information about her tree, please pm me or post.
