Title: Crose/Greenwood..
Post by: J.Roebuck on Saturday 25 September 04 23:01 BST (UK)
Help!  I'm trying to trace my Grandads mothers side of the family. I haven't much to go on, just that She Married into the Greenwoods (maybe around 1919),had three children, Rose, George and my grandfather Samuel. And that they lived in Whittlesey,  Cambridge... ???

Hi
I have had a look on the 1901 census for Cambridgeshire, nothing actually in Whittlesey for the name Crose but there was this family.

Ellen Crose 27  Isle of Ely, Soham Wife  Impington  Cambridgeshire
Fred Henry Crose 25  Burwell, Cambridgeshire, England Head  Impington  Cambridgeshire
Gladys Crose 7 months  Impington, Cambridgeshire, England Daughter  Impington  Cambridgeshire
Marjorie Crose 2  Impington, Cambridgeshire, England Daughter  Impington  Cambridgeshire

If you think this could fit into your family let me know and I will post the full details.
