Geoff

Just caught up with this posting of a few years ago, and thought you might like to know that solicitor Martin Hunnybun (snr born c1808/9) drew up the will of my gt.gt.grandfather, William Church of Biggleswade, and received a handsome fee for setting up and administering a trust.

You have probably already found him in 1881 holidaying in Hampshire, and visiting an elderly butcher who had a very much younger wife and two little children, if the relationships on the census are to be believed.

Hi Gillg

If you click on Geoff's username you'll see that he hasn't visited RootsChat since January 2005.  :-\

You may wish to send him a PM instead to see if he's still around.

Hi David & Dave

I'm beginning to wish I'd never started this. My PM to Geoff was "blocked", so I fear that we shan't any longer be able to contact her.  This could explain why she did not respond to David's reply in 04.

Martin Hunnybun was rector of Bicknoller 1868 but converted to Catholicism. Does anyone have a photo of him - I have an old photo of a rector sitting in Bicknoller church around 1868 - not sure if it is Rev Hunnybun or his successor Rev Vernon.
