Title: 1871 census for HAMPTON

In 1871 I believe my grandfather James Matthew Hampton and possibly his parents John and Matilda were living in Sheffield Road, Derby. Please can anyone out there help.

Thanks for the reply Sylvia, The only Hampton's, that are relevant to me are......James Matthew who married Ellen Talbot in 1871, she died in 1873, leaving a son. James later married my GMother Phoebe Cook in 1888. I have details of these. John Hampton who married Matilda How in 1846 are the parents of James, and they lived in Golds Green, West Bromwich in 1848 when James was born, so really its the 1851/61 census - West Bromwich, which would be of more beneficial for me.  But I thank you for all your help............Glo
