Title: Matthew Paton Walker: 1 January 1903

We're trying to find information about Matthew Paton Walker.  He was born on 1 January 1903 in Renfrewshire, Scotland and died in 1986 in Birmingham, West Midlands.  He had lived in Watchet and Williton in Somerset around 1939, and had also lived in Lancashire (Lanchester), around 1931.  He had his own haulage company at the time.

He is our daughter's great grandfather and we are trying to find out what happened to him after about 1941.

Trade directories in Birmingham library may include the haulage company that your ancestor owned. After 1945 you may be able to find him in the electoral registers.
