Hi
I thought I would list the names I am researching
Walton - Chester Le Street- Newbottle - Shadforth - Sherburn - St Gilies
Bullerwell - Anywhere
Wilkinson - Chester Le Street - Houghton Le Spring
Anderson - Great Lumley
Descendents of these families emigrated to Australia in the 1850's.

Hi,
I have in my direct tree a Walton living in Chester le Street district (precisly Birtley)
Richard Pratt
Emily Pratt (formerly Walton)
and their children
She appears in the 1851 census (living in Consett)
She is 41, born in Reeth, Yorkshire
Any relation ?
Best regards
Greg

Hi Greg
I don't think we would have a connection.
Mine is John Walton b abt 1807 in Chester-Le-Street parents unknown at this stage.
John married an Ann Bullerwell in 1830 in Bishopwearmouth & ended up in Sherburn.

Hi, ;D
There are a couple of possibles for your John WALTON
John WALTON born 19th Sept 1806
bapt 4th Jan 1807
Parents: John Walton of Chester, a Mason of Chester, & his wife Jane TAYLOR of Birkley, Yorkshire.
John WALTON born 24th Nov 1807
bapt 27th Nov 1807
Parents are; John WALTON of Tuizel, Tailor of Bannistor, Yorkshire & his wife Margaret BIRTLEY of Pelton.
The TUIZEL is a bit of a worry, I can't find any such place.
Hope you get a lead out of one of them.
Cheers
Geoff

Hi
I am not sure if we have a connection. I don't seem to have a John born Abt 1852.
All my Walton lines seem to be around the Sherburn, Newbottle & St.Giles area.
Thank you

Hi Karen
I don't think we have a connection.
As far as I know my Jonathan Wilkinson was born abt 1828 in Houghton Le Spring to Jonathon Wilkinson & possibly a Charlotte King.

Hi fataussie,
my great great grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Bullerwell, born in Medomsley, Co. Durham circa 1850's.
Mary arrived in Australia in the 1870's with her family & her future husband, Thomas Hunter Turnbull.
Does any of this sound familiar at all?

Hi Fataussie
Im new on here anyway noticed you are looking for any Bullerwells, I have a Jane Bullerwell who married Thomas Harrison, dont know if my Jane is any relation
