Title: Looking for Tom Whitbread

Hello everybody,

I´m new on rootschat and I´m looking for my grandfather.
All informations we have about him are these :

Tom Whitbread, born April 18th in 1913, Corporal in the Infantery Wiltshire Regiment No 78 in World War II.
From July to December 1945 in Germany in the city of Markoldendorf / Einbeck.

My grandma died last year and just there she told my mother about her father.
My mother was born in 1946, she never knew her dad.
If somebody has got any information, please tell me

Hi Annie,

think you are a real specialist on this side. Thank you for the link. Another member gave me the information, that our granddad died in May 1995 in Devizes. That brought us a step nearer.
