After a long lay off from researching,I have finally found time to complete my
family tree.the parish records where my ancestors came from are almost
unreadable,so my researching days are over.
It will be a blessing really cos I have other hobbies and interests to keep me
occupied and I will shortly be moving to another part of the country which will
be a challenge in itself.
Thankyou to all who replied to my requests and well done to the team who designed this excellent site.
Good luck and good health to all of you.
Take care.

Our best wishes go with you - but I can't believe that anyone truly bows out of family history. You may have completed your own, but don't be surprised if someone else comes along and asks you for help!

Oh believe me I am,I've been there and done it,fifteen years and eight generations is'nt bad and there are lots of people with a great knowledge
of family history on this forum who are more than willing to help someone.
I was fortunate to have the help of a correspondent who had been researching
our family name for sixty years or so,its a pretty rare surname.
All the best.

Best wishes to you, Solitary, as you go!
Hope you will write all your findings up carefully for family members. I'm at the stage where I need to do this myself, despite the fact that I am still looking and probably always will be!
Good luck with your move and your other hobbies and interests!
Go well and safely,
